Where We Train

The Westchester Track Club trains on both the track and trails, depending on the time of year, nature of the workout, and weather conditions.

Formal Team practices:
-Saturday mornings, all year-long, weather permitting, on the lower trails of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve;
-Wednesday evenings, April through October on either the Sleepy Hollow High School track, or on the lower trails of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve.

Informal Distance Running:
-Many members get together for long runs at various sites on Sundays.

Offering over 1,000 acres of trails, the Rockefeller State Park Preserve in Sleepy Hollow serves as an invaluable training ground for the Westchester Track Club. The club’s Saturday morning practices take place at “Rockies” on the “Flat Hill,” near where Webber Avenue and Sleepy Hollow Roads converge.
